AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $22,000 FROM THE
CIVITAN CLUB; APPROPRIATING $22,000 ACCEPTED
FROM THE CIVITAN CLUB TO BE USED FOR THE
KIDDIE ZOO; EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO THE
CIVITAN CLUB FOR THE DONATION; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Civitan Club has offered to donate $22,000
to the City of Little Rock to be used for the Kiddie Zoo;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
express their appreciation to the Civitan Club for the
donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. A donation of $22,000 from the Civitan Club
to the City of Little Rock to be used for the Kiddie Zoo is
hereby accepted.
SECTION II. There is hereby appropriated $22,000 from
the donation accepted from the Civitan Club to be used for
the Kiddie Zoo.
SECTION III. The appreciation of the City of Little
Rock is hereby expressed to the Civitan Club for their
generous donation for the use of the Kiddie Zoo.
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
