AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following properties be and are hereby changed as indicated:
(a) Z -3502 - Described as part of the NE 1/4 NW 1/4
Section 8 T -1 -S, R -13 -W Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as follows: Beginning
at the NE corner of the NE 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 8;
thence N 880 04' 10" W 338.3 feet to the point of
beginning; thence N 88° 04' 10" W and along the N
line of said NE 1/4 NW 1/4 300.1 feet to the
centerline of the Old Little Rock - Hot Springs
Highway; thence S 08° 45' 45" W along the
centerline of said highway 156.2 feet; thence S
770 50' 35" E 31 feet to a point on the E
right -of -way line of said highway; thence S 11°
54' 10" W along the E right -of -way line of said
highway 79.1 feet; thence S 140 05' W along the E
right -of -way line of said highway 61.85 feet;
thence S 74° 01' 10" E 279 feet; thence N 190 23'
55" 92 feet; thence N 160 59' 30" E 68.5 feet;
thence N 06° 15' 05" E 27.9 feet to a point on the
S line of tract of 1.7 acres conveyed to
Sherman D. Vines and wife in Deed Book 657 at
Page 21; thence N 71° 47' 30" W 24 feet; thence N
080 16' 20" E 179.3 feet to the point of beginning
from "R -2" Single Family District to "C -3" General
Commercial District.
(b) Z -3508 - Described as the S 1/2 of Lot 11 and all
of Lot 12, West Markham Subdivision an addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, excluding the N
300 feet of the E 90 feet of Lot 12 and excluding
8.57 acres to Arkansas Highway Department also
being part of the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 3 T -1 -N,
R -13 -W Pulaski County, Arkansas being more
particularly described as follows: Commencing at
a point 56.4 feet S of the centerline of West
Markham Street, said point being at the
intersection of the W line of said Lot 11 and the
S right -of -way line of West Markham Street and the
I -430 interchange; thence S 83° 11' 51" W 90.8
feet to the point of beginning; thence S 1° 54'
41" W 244.97 feet; thence S 88° 56' E 90.24 feet;
thence S 10 47' 58" W 345.28 feet; thence S 88°
56' E 182.31 feet; thence S 140 41' W 271.92 feet;
thence S 54° 55' 03" W 264.43 feet; thence N 790
04' 51" W 92.09 feet; thence N 20 19' 03" W 170.8

The S 345.28 feet of the N 1/2 of Lot 11 West
Markham Subdivision, an addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, excluding 0.9 acres to the
Arkansas Highway Department, also being part of
the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 3 T -1 -N, R -13 -W Pulaski
County, Arkansas, being more particularly
described as: Commencing at a point 56.4 feet S
of the centerline of West Markham Street, said
point being at the intersection of the W line of
Lot 11 and the S right -of -way line of West
J;
Markham Street and the I -430 Interchange; thence S
1° 47' 58" W 257.63 feet to the point of
beginning; thence S 880 56' E 232.09 feet; thence
S 50 07' 21" W 172.25 feet; thence S 140 41' W
178.45 feet; thence N 88° 56' W 182.31 feet;
thence N 1° 47' 58" E 345.28 feet to the point of
beginning from "R -2" Single Family District and
"0-3" General Office District to "C -2" Shopping
Center District.
(c) Z -3504 - Described as part of the W 1/2 SW 1/4
Section 9 T -1 -S, R -13 -W Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described as: Beginning at the SW corner of said
W 1/2 SW 1/4 Section 9; thence N 88° 47' E 1,012.5
feet along the S line of said W 1/2 SW 1/4 Section
9; thence N 0° 27' E 710.2 feet; thence N 27° 42'
W 2,189.4 feet to the NW corner of said W 1/2 SW
1/4 Section 9; thence S 2,670.2 feet along the W
line of said W 1/2 SW 1/4 Section 9 to the point
of beginning from "R -2" Single Family District to
"I -3" Heavy Industrial District.
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district map be and it here amended to the extent
and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the Ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
