THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUC-
TION OF STORM DRAINAGE ETROVK4= ON SIXTH STREET
BETWEEN ELM AND PINE STREETS: AUTHORIZING AN AGREE -
1= BMIEEN THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION STATE OF
ARKANSAS AND THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK PERTAINING TO
STORM DRAINAGE D43ROVEMENTS CST SIXTH STREET; APPRO-
PRIATING $413,726.00 FRCM THE 1977 CAPITAL DTROVE-
MENT FUND FOR THE RODNEY PARHAM ROAmy IZipWENI
PRCUE('T; APPROPRIATING $100,000.00 FRCM THE INTEREST
EARNED ON THE 1977 CAPITAL IMPROVEYM FUND FOR THE
PURCHASE OF LAND IN THE FOURCHE BOTTCES: APPRO-
PRIATING $15,000.00 FROM INTEREST EARNED ON THE
1977 CAPITAL Il`1WV&M= FUND FOR ENGINEERING AND
RELATED SERVICES FOR VARIOUS PARKS PROJECTS;
APPROPRIATING $50,000.00 FRCM THE 1977 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALJATION
OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT ON RODNEY PARHAM;
APPROPRIATING $45,000.00 FR.CM THE 1977 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF
TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT AT THE INTERSECTION OF
UNIVERSITY AVENUE AND FORBING ROAD; APPROVING
CHANGE ORDERS TO THE HONM ELL, INC., CONTRACTS;
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC
SIGNAL POLES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated fram interest earned
on the 1977 Capital Improvement Rmd $64,773.00 for storm drainage im-
provements on Sixth Street between Elm and Pine Streets.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to advertise
for bids for construction of storm drainage improvenents on Sixth Street
between Elm and Pine Streets, cost of construction to be shared by
Veterans Administration, the State of Arkansas and the City of Little
Rock.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby to execute an agreenent
between the Veterans Administration, the State of Arkansas and the City
of Little Rock which provides for the three agencies to share in the
cost of a storin drainage improvement project on Sixth Street between
Elm and Pine Streets with the project being administered by the City.

SECTION 4. 'There is hereby appropriated $413,726.00 from the
1977 Capital Improvement Fund for the Rodney Parham Roadway Improvement
Project and payment of this ano nzt to the Arkansas Highway Transporta-
tion Department is hereby authooized.
SECTION 5. There is hereby appropriated $100,000.00 fran
interest earned on the 1977 Capital Impravement Fund for the purchase
of lands in Fourche Bottoms.
SECTION 6. There is hereby appropriated $15,000.00 from the
interest earned on the 1977 Capital Improvement Fund for engineering
and related services for various park projects.
SECTION 7. There is hereby appropriated $50,000.00 fran the
1977 Capital Tmprovenent Fund for the purchase and installation of
traffic signal equipment for the Rodney Parham Roadway Improvement
Proj ect .
SECTION 8. There is hereby appropriated $45,000.00 from the
1977 Capital Improvement Fund for the purchase and installation of
traffic signal equipment at University and Forbing Road.
SECTION 9. Change Order No. 011 to the Honeywell, Inc., con-
tract is hereby approved.
SECTION 10. Change Order No. 013 to the Honeywell, Inc.,
contract is hereby approved.
SECTION 11. Change Order No. 015 to the Honeywell, Inc.,
contract is hereby approved.
SECTION 12. The purchase of additional traffic signal poles
for locations along Bond Street and University Drive is hereby authorized
using prices obtained in Bid No. 0171.
SECTION 13. This Ordinanceshall be in full force and effect
£ran and after its passage and approval.
