RESOLUTION NO. 13,547
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO AN ANNUAL PURCHASING CONTRACT WITH SOUTHERN
TIRE MART TO PROVIDE TRUCK TIRE RETREADING SERVICES
FOR THE FLEET SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for an annual purchasing contract to provide for the
purchase of truck tire retreading services for the Fleet Services Department, and Southern Tire Mart was
the lowest qualified bidder to provide truck tire retreading services at an estimated annual cost of Sixty
Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00); and,
WHEREAS, this annual purchasing contract is for one (1) -year, with an option to renew each year
for up to two (2) additional years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual
purchase contract with Southern Tire Mart to provide truck tire retreading services, at an estimated annual
cost of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00).
Section 2. This Annual Purchase Order will be for one (1) -year, with an option to renew each year
for up to two (2) additional years.
Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2012 Parts Budget.
Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
