3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 21, 2012, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE APPROVAL OF A
5 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW FOR THE
6 CONSTRUCTION OF A PAVILION ON THE R -2 ZONED FOREST
7 PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 1600
8 NORTH TYLER STREET, LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
12 Commission's action in approving a Conditional Use Permit to allow for construction of a pavilion on the
13 R -2 zoned Forest Park Elementary School property located, at 1600 North Tyler Street (Z- 5459 -C),
14 pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City of Little
15 Rock.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The hearing on the resolution to rescind the approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow
19 construction of a pavilion on the R -2 zoned Forest Park Elementary School property, located at 1600
20 North Tyler Street, shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the
21 Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 21 S` day of August, 2012.
22 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
23 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
24 County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
