Little Rock Board of Directors Special Called Meeting

The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, met in a special called
session with Mayor Mark Stodola presiding. City Clerk Susan Langley called the roll
with the following Directors present: Hines; Wright; Wyrick; Adcock; Vice Mayor
Kumpuris and Mayor Stodola. The following Directors were absent: Hendrix;
Richardson; Hurst; Cazort; and Fortson.
Mayor Stodola explained that the Board was in session based on a Special Called
Meeting Notice that he had issued for the purpose of the authorization of the issuance
and sale of Sewer Revenue Bonds, so that there would be three (3) readings of the
ordinance in a contemporary time with the sale of the bonds.
City Attorney Tom Carpenter asked that the record reflect that there was a quorum
present for the meeting.
1. ORDINANCE: To authorize the issuance and sale of Sewer Revenue Bonds; to
provide for the payment of the principal of and interest on the bonds; to declare an
emergency; and for other purposes.
The ordinance was read the first time
Mayor Stodola stated that an additional notice would be issued for a Special Called
Meeting to be held on July 13, 2012, at 5:00 PM for a second reading of the ordinance.
Vice Mayor Kumpuris made the motion, seconded by Director Wright, to adjourn the
special called meeting. By unanimous voice vote of the Board Members present, the
special called meeting was adjourned.
