Frank, Deceased.; and, r`.hereas, Zany, questions in regard to the settlement of the estate are continually arising which need definite and � immediate action, including settlement with those taking under specific bequests, settlement with the State and Government of estate, inheritance and income taxes, and various other features requiring immediate decision; and, ','�hereas, these different settlements, if made without the consent or approval of the City of Little Hock, could by the City, as residuary legatee, be questioned later,and the differ- ent parties in interest have requested a City representative to assist in and approve the different features and. matters in con- nection with and. incidental to the settlement of the estate; NOW, T -fiEREF ORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCY_: That Jno. F. Clifford, City Atty.,be alad he is hereby authorized, for and. on behalf of the City of Little Rock, to act for said city in the settlement of said estate and in all fea- tures, matters and questions arising incidental thereto or in connection therewith, to give final decision to all questions affecting the City's interest as residuary legatee, and to do and take such steps and action as to him in the premises may seen: advisable; and we hereby ratify all such acts, decisions and settlements rliade for and on behalf of said City by the said Jno.
