RESOLUTION. NO. 1176.
,°IHER& S, the Community Fund which finances the organiza-
tions for the assistance of the poor and needy in Little Rook
has recently put on a drive to raise money for next year's
activities,
WHi�-,.&AS, this drive was put in the hands of 11'r. James J.
Harrison of this city, as Director, anO the full amount has been
subscribed, and,
WHERBAS, the success of this drive is one of the most
remarkable things that ever occurred in Little Rock and means
more to the city than any other drive has meant of similar
character,
THREFORL BE. TT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Little Rock exten(, its thanks to 3r. James J. Harrison and
to all of his co- workers in mAking possible this wonderful
result. The City takes special pride in the work of Captain Geo. R.
Gay whose team led all those in the campaign.
