seeking to obtain franchises from the city council by which they may
have tae right to distribute and sell natural gas to cons-a -mere within
the corporate limits of this city, and

and by virtue of an indeterminate permits, is at present engaged in the
distribution and scale of ja.s 'were and have their distributing pipe line

concluded that it is for the bast interests of the people of Little Rock
that this ci:.y be served by one gas company only, provided it is possible
for said utility to furnish adequate service to the people of this city;

may hereafter be filed should be declined so land; as the Tattle Bock Gas
& Fuel Company is able to supply the consaa-ers of this city with an adequate
supply of gas for their needs; and

Gas Corporation to guarantee the performance of its promise to bring in an
itional supply of natural gas by executing a bond conditioned that it
will pay to Lhe City of Little Rook the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars

of Little Rock an or before Jarratvey 1s, 1929, said offer beirk; in the form
of a letter to onorable Chase Ze 114.7ers, Mayors, dated June 30, 19288, be and the
