RESOLUTION NO. 1210 .
WHEREAS, Suit has been filed in Circuit Court of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, by Annnis McDonald Schaer, et al,
plaintiffs, vs City of Little Rock, et al, defendants, being
case No. 21031, wherein plaintiffs filed motion for judgment,
on complaint filed November 20, 1928,to annul the action of the
City Council of Little Rock on October 22, 1;'20, in rejecting
plaintiffs' petition, and to require members of_the City
Council of the City of Little Rock to act favorably upon and
to pass an ordinance creating an improvement district pur-
suant to petitions filed; and
WHEREAS, City Attorney Pat L. Robinson is absent
from the City; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUuCIL OF TH E CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKAINSAS:
That Judge W. W. Shepherd be, and he is hereby,
empowered to represent the defendants in said suit, defending
the action of the City Council of Little Rock o•z October 22,
1928, in rejecting plaintiffs' petition, it being understood
that 'Mr. Shepherd is also representing interested property
owners in said district.
