NO. 12 1
WHEREAS, a zoning ordinance was recently passed,
zoning the property adjacent to the New Senior High School
on Park Avenue between Fourteenth and Sixteenth Streets
and,
"IHEREAS# this action was taken to protect the beauty
of the new Senior High School from being marred by commercial
buildings in front of said High School and,
WHEREAS, it is thought advisable to open Fifteenth
Street from Schiller to Park Avenue and,
!n,HEREAS, there is some danger of permanent structures
being built on the property which would be utilized by Fif-
teenth Street if opened.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that a committee consisting
of the Mayor, the Parks Committee, and the Street Committee,
be appointed to investigate the feasibility and cost of open-
ing Fifteenth Street from Schiller to Park Avenue, and make
a complete report to the Council as soon as possible.
