RESOLUTION NO. 13,510
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL
VIDEO DETECTION SYSTEM PROCESSORS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for twenty (20) Traffic Signal Video Detection System Processors,
Bid No. 2012 -244, to provide for the installation of video vehicle detection systems at various locations
throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, Pinkley Sales was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting specifications in the
amount of One Hundred Seven Thousand, Thirty Dollars ($107,030); (Ninety -Seven Thousand, Three
Hundred Dollars plus 10% contingencies);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Pinkley Sales for
Bid No. 2012 -244, for One Hundred Seven Thousand, Thirty Dollars ($107,030) (Ninety -Seven
Thousand, Three Hundred Dollars ($97,300), plus 10% contingencies).
Section 2. Funding for this project is from 2012-% cent Capital Sales Tax Project Funds.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
