RESOLUTION NO. 13,509
• RESOLUTION TO AUTHROIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
• CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL LOOP INSTALLATION AT
VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bid No. 2012 -222 was solicited for Traffic Signal Loop Installation at various locations
throughout the City, to provide for the repair and replacement of vehicle detection traffic loops at
signalized intersections; and
WHEREAS, All Service Electric was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting
specifications, in the amount of One Hundred Eighty -Two Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-Seven
Dollars and 40/100 ($182,747.40) (One Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand, One Hundred Thirty-Four Dollars
($166,134.00), plus 10% contingencies);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with All Service Electric
for Traffic Signal Loop Installation in the amount of One Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand, Seven
Hundred Forty-Seven Dollars and 40/100 ($182,747.40) (One Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand, One
Hundred Thirty-Four Dollars ($166,134.00), plus 10% contingencies).
Section 2. Funding for this project is from 2012 % -cent Capital Sales Tax Project Funds.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
