3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN ANNUAL PURCHASE ORDER CONTRACT WITH NAPA
5 AUTO PARTS, AS PRIMARY VENDOR, AND O'REILLY AUTO PARTS,
6 AS SECONDARY VENDOR, TO PROVIDE NON -OEM LIGHT DUTY
7 REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR ALL CITY -OWNED EQUIPMENT, IN
8 THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED NINETY THOUSAND
9 DOLLARS ($290,000.000) PER YEAR, WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW
10 EACH YEAR UP TO TWO (2) ADDITIONAL YEARS; AND FOR OTHER
11 PURPOSES.

13 WHEREAS, Bid No. C12005 was advertised for an Annual Purchase Order Contract the purchase of
14 non -OEM light duty replacement parts for use in all City -owned equipment; and
15 WHEREAS, NAPA Auto Parts submitted the lowest qualifying bid and O'Reilly submitted the
16 second lowest qualifying bid;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an Annual Purchase Order agreement
20 with NAPA Auto Parts as primary vendor and O'Reilly Auto Parts as secondary vendor, to provide non -
21 OEM light duty replacement parts for use in all City -owned equipment.
22 Section 2: The Annual Purchase Order agreement is for one (1) -year, with an option to renew each
23 year up to two (2) additional years, with estimated expenditures of Two Hundred Ninety Thousand
24 Dollars ($290,000.00) per year.
25 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Support Services Parts budget account
26 #600013- 60310.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
28 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
29 Section 5. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.
