RESOLUTION NO. 13,507
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO CONTRACTS WITH EIGHT (8) ORGANIZATIONS TO
PROVIDE SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAMS TO LITTLE ROCK
YOUTH AGES SIX (6) TO FIFTEEN (15); AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is committed to providing prevention, intervention, and youth
development programs and services to enhance public safety and community- building, and
WHEREAS, the City advertised a formal Bid No. 12230 to solicit proposals for Little Rock Summer
Recreation Programs for Little Rock youth ages six (6) to fifteen (15) , and
WHEREAS, a review committee met and reviewed the proposals submitted on April 20, 2012,
determined the lowest responsible and responsive bidders, and recommends the organizations listed
below for contract awards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Contracts for Summer Recreation programs are hereby awarded to the following
organizations:

Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contracts with these organizations providing
summer recreation programs and services, upon approval of the contract by the City Attorney.
Section 3. Funds for these programs are from FUTURE -Little Rock tax revenue specified for

prevention, intervention, and treatment programs, account number S15A063.
Section 4. The term of the contract is from June 11, 2012, to July 27, 2012.
Section 5. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this
resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional were not originally a part of this resolution.
Section 6. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with any
provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
