3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH EXCAVATING SERVICES, LLC, FOR
5 ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND DEMOLITION OF FOUR (4)
6 CONDEMNED MULTI - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES,
7 LOCATED AT 7318, 7323, 7400 AND 7401 PRESTON DRIVE, WITHIN
8 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER

WHEREAS, Bid No. 12238 was advertised for the asbestos abatement and demolition of four (4)
condemned multi - family residential properties located at 7318, 7323, 7400 and 7401 Preston Drive,
within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Excavating Services, LLC, submitted the most responsible
and responsive bid in the amount of Fifty -Four Thousand, Three Hundred Dollars ($54,300.00);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Excavating Services, LLC,
the lowest bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed Fifty -Four Thousand, Three
Hundred Dollars ($54,300.00) for asbestos abatement, demolition and removal of four (4) condemned
multi - family residential properties located at 7318, 7323, 7400 and 7401 Preston Drive within the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 2. Funding for this project will be charged to 108359- 63390- S35A005.
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
