HomeMy WebLinkAbout14071ORDINANCE NO. 14,071 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 4 -27 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PERTAINING TO THE SALE OF BEER OR LIGHT WINE IN DANCE HALLS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, it has been determined that the prohibition of dancing in establishments where light wines or beer is sold may be an undue burden on the Constitutional rights of patrons of such establishments; and WHEREAS, dancing is allowed in establishments holding mixed drink permits. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Section 4 -27 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. This Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
