AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER_
12,871, WHICH CLOSED THE ALLEY ON THE
SOUTH 10 FEET OF LOT 2, BLOCK 74, ORIGINAL
CITY, TO RELEASE THE PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS
RETAINED WHEN SAID ALLEY WAS CLOSED; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance Number 12,871, the Board of Directors
vacated, abandoned and released all of the rights of the City
of Little Rock to a certain alley designated as the South 10 feet
of Lot 2, Block 74, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the above - described alley closure was made
subject to any public utility easements located in the above-
described alley; and
WHEREAS, it is now the desire of the property owners of
Lot 2, Block 74, Original City of Little Rock, to re- locate the
public utility easements located in the closed alley so that
construction work can commence on said lot; and
WHEREAS, it has been indicated that the public utility
companies have agreed to the re- location of the easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Ordinance Number 12,871 which closed the
alley located in the South 10 feet of Lot 2, Block 74, Original
City of Little Rock is hereby amended to release all public
utility easements retained in Section 1 of said ordinance.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
