AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 7701 NEW BENTON HIGHWAY IN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following property be and is hereby changed as indicated:
Z -3738 - described as a part of the NW 1/4, SW 1/4,
and part of the SW 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 36, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said NW 1/4,
SW 1/4, Section 36; thence north 89° 23' 53" W, along
the north line of the SW 1/4, Section 36, 148.9 feet to
the point of beginning; thence south 636.54 feet to the
right -of -way of the Missouri Pacific Railroad; thence
along said railroad right -of -way the following bearings
and distances: South 47° 21' W, 150 feet; south 48°
27' W, 150 feet; and south 49° 13' W, 125.58 feet;
thence north 89° 23' 53" W, 822.56 feet to a point that
is south 89° 23' 53" E, 22.16 feet from the west line
of Section 36; thence north 00° 10' 26" E and parallel
to the west line of Section 36, 483.94 feet; thence
north 88° 28' 09" E, 272.37 feet; thence north 00° 27'
E, 428.9 feet to a point on the north line of the SW
1/4, Section 36; thence south 89° 23' 53" E, along said
north line of the SW 1/4, Section 36, 25.5 feet; thence
north 01° 04' 03" E, 230.43 feet to the right -of -way of
U.S. Interstate Highway #30; thence along a V curve on
the right -of -way of said Interstate 30 with a chord
bearing north 75° 59' 25" E, a distance of 601.42 feet;
thence north 88° 15' E, along said right -of -way of
Interstate #30, 250.05 feet; thence south 392.82 feet
to the point of beginning, from "R -2" Single Family
District to "I -2" Lighe Industrial District.
Section 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated District Map be and it is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. That the Ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
