AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING Raintree
lane which runs East off Reservoir Road
between Blocks 3, 4, 5 and 6, R. D. Duncan's
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
WHEREAS, it has been determined that Raintree Lane which runs East off
Reservoir Road between Blocks 3, 4, 5 and 6, R. D. Duncan's Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said
Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 1, Page 178 in the office
of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, is no longer needed for
corporate purposes, except for public utility and drainage easement
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the street designated as follows:
Starting from the NW corner of NW-4 SW-4 Section 35, T -2 -N, R -13 -W
southerly 646' to a point, thence easterly 30' to point of beginning,
thence easterly 617' to a point, thence southerly 40' to a point,
thence westerly 617' to a point, thence northerly 40' to a point
of beginning containing 24,680 sq.ft. more or less„ subject, however, to any
public utility or drainage easements located in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County
and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
