RESOLUTION NO. 13,465
A RESOLUTION TO SET APRIL 3, 2012, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENTS REMAINING IN THE FORMERLY- ABANDONED STATE
STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY LOCATED BETWEEN BLOCKS 222 AND
232, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
abandon the utility and drainage easements retained in the formerly- abandoned State Street right -of -way,
located between Blocks 222 and 232, Original City of Little Rock, and located within the college campus,
pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned utility and drainage
easements shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board
Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 3`d day of April, 2012.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
