6 PURCHASE OF POLICE AMMUNITION FOR 2012 TRAINING; AND
7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department needs to re -stock its ammunition supply to meet the
training requirements for 2012; and
WHEREAS, the estimated annual cost for utilizing the State Contract for purchasing the Little Rock
Police Department's ammunition supply to fulfill the qualifications mandated by the State Minimum
Standards Commission for 2012 is One Hundred Fifty -Three Thousand, Three Hundred Seventy -Six and
42/100 Dollars ($153,376.42);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to purchase Little Rock Police
Department ammunition for training for 2012 from the Arkansas State Contract in the estimated annual
cost of One Hundred Fifty -Three Thousand, Three Hundred Seventy -Six and 42/100 Dollars
($153,376.42).
Section 2. Funds for the purchase of the Little Rock Police Department ammunition are available in
the 2012 Police Departmental Budget Accounts.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
