HomeMy WebLinkAbout134681 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 RESOLUTION NO. 13,468 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF AN ENGINEERING DESIGN CONTRACT TO MCCLELLAND ENGINEERS FOR THE 9TH STREET EXTENSION PROJECT PHASE 2; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, it is desirable to complete Phase 2 of the four lane arterial 9th Street from Bond Street to the east and northeast connecting with 6th Street, linking the Interstate 30 corridor to the area north of the Little Rock National Airport to provide for the transportation and economic development needs of the area; and WHEREAS, McClelland Engineers was selected through a Statement of Qualifications process, Bid Number 11,249 to provide engineering design services for the 9th Street Extension Phase 2 Project to include widening and improving 6`h and Picron Streets from Corning to 91h and the relocation of Concord Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with McClelland Engineers for engineering design services of 9th Street Extension Phase 2. Section 2. Funding for the project is available from a grant from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. Amount authorized for services One Hundred Seventeen Thousand, One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($117,150.00) (One Hundred Six Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($106,500) plus 10% contingencies). Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
