3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN ADDENDUM TO THE LEASE WITH
4 FINANCIAL CENTRE JOINT VENTURES FOR LITTLE ROCK POLICE
5 DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the City leases space for certain special police operations but needs additional space and
8 modifications to adapt to technological necessities; and,
9 WHEREAS, an addendum to the lease with Financial Centre Joint Ventures has been agreed upon
10 which expands the available space for use, modernizes the current space, and extends the term for a
11 period of seven (7) years;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute an addendum to the lease agreement with
15 Financial Centre Joint Ventures for space for certain special police operations in an amount not to exceed
16 One Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand, One Hundred Eighteen Dollars ($149,118) for the first year of the
17 seven (7) -year extension of the lease.
18 Section 2. Funds for this expenditure are available in the 2012 Police Budget accounts, and funds
19 for subsequent lease years will be included in the annual Police Budget accounts.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
22 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and ef-
23 fect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that a e inconsistent
26 with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsisten y
