RESOLUTION NO. 13,461
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF FOUR (4) THIRTY (30) CUBIC -YARD SIDE -LOAD
REFUSE TRUCKS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department is in need of four (4) thirty (30) cubic -yard side -load
refuse trucks, and
WHEREAS, these refuse trucks will replace older equipment with high maintenance expenses, and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of four (4) thirty (30) cubic -yard
side -load refuse trucks, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from River City
Hydraulics, Inc., in the amount of Nine Hundred Eighty-One Thousand, Six Hundred Dollars
($981,600.00);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract for the
purchase four (4) thirty (30) cubic -yard side -load refuse trucks, for the amount of Nine Hundred Eighty-
One Thousand, Six Hundred Dollars ($981,600.00).
Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from Short -Term Financing, Account
#325409- 72300- F332003.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
