3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH OLIVER'S CUSTOM ROOFING FOR
5 PARTIAL RE- ROOFING OF THE LITTLE ROCK HOMELESS DAY
6 RESOURCE CENTER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City issued Bid #11255 to furnish labor and materials for the replacement of the
9 metal roof on the main south building located at the City of Little Rock's Homeless Day Resource Center,
10 and Oliver's Custom Roofing submitted the most responsible and responsive bid for that project in the
11 amount of Fifty -One Thousand, Five Hundred Three and 28/100 Dollars ($51,503.28);
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Oliver's Custom Roof -
15 ing, in the amount of Fifty -One Thousand, Five Hundred Three and 28/100 Dollars ($51,503.28) to fur -
16 nish labor and materials for the replacement of the metal roof on the south building located at the City of
17 Little Rock's Homeless Day Resource Center.
18 Section 2. The funds for the project will be provided from the Community Block Grant Project Day
19 Resource Center, Accounting Unit 230009 — Activity G59911.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
22 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and ef-
23 fect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this res-
26 olution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
