3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN ANNUAL PURCHASING CONTRACT WITH LANDERS
5 TOYOTA OF LITTLE ROCK FOR VEHICLE LEASING SERVICES;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for an annual purchasing contract for vehicle leasing
9 services for the Little Rock Police Department pursuant to the terms of the vehicle lease agreement
10 included in the bid specifications; and
11 WHEREAS, the invitation to bid provided for a one (1) -year purchasing contract with option to
12 extend the contract for two (2) additional one (1) -year terms upon mutual agreement of the parties; and
13 WHEREAS, Landers Toyota of Little Rock submitted the only bid for vehicle leasing services; and
14 WHEREAS, the total amount payable to Landers Toyota for vehicle leasing services for one (1) -year
15 will not exceed Two Hundred Ninety-One Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-Eight Dollars ($291,648.00);
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to award an Annual Purchase
19 Order to Landers Toyota of Little Rock for vehicle leasing services for the Little Rock Police Department,
20 pursuant to the terms and conditions included in Little Rock Bid No. C11024, in an amount not to exceed
21 Two Hundred Ninety-One Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-Eight Dollars ($291,648.00) per year including
22 applicable taxes.
23 Section 2. Funds for the first annual purchasing contract are allocated in the Little Rock Police
24 Department's 2012 Budget accounts.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
31 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
