HomeMy WebLinkAbout13362I RESOLUTION NO. 13,362 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONSTRUCTION/REHABILITATION 4 OF EIGHT (8) SINGLE - FAMILY DWELLINGS AS PART OF THE 5 NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM 2 (NSP2); AND FOR 6 OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, in January 2010, a funding agreement was executed allocating $8,602.359.00 to the 9 City of Little Rock Consortium, as a result of the City's application for funding from HUD through the 10 Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP2); and 11 WHEREAS, the funds are to be utilized for the acquisition and redevelopment of abandoned, 12 foreclosed and nuisance properties for low to moderate - income beneficiaries; and 13 WHEREAS, the following eight (8) residential properties have been chosen for construction or 14 rehabilitation as part of the NSP2 Program, in the total bid amounts of Eight Hundred Fifty -Three 15 Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty -Three Dollars ($853,463): 16 17 Rymor Builders: 18 2609 West 13th Street - $117,000 — new construction 19 1900 Johnson Street - $109,000 — new construction 20 1916 Johnson Street - $83,673 — rehabilitation 21 1800 Brown Street - $78,240 — rehabilitation 22 Ford Property Homes: 23 3204 West 13th Street - $128,932 — new construction 24 2601 West 13th Street - $117,868 — new construction 25 Craig Custom Construction: 26 2502 West 18ath Street - $121,250 — new construction 27 DBI Construction: 28 3411 West 10th Street - $97,500 — rehabilitation 29 30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 31 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 32 Section 1: The Board of Directors hereby approves the use of NSP2 Funds for the 33 construction /rehabilitation of eight (8) residential structures as set forth herein.
