3 A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 3, 2011, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE DENIAL OF A
5 REQUESTED REZONING FROM C -3, GENERAL COMMERCIAL
6 DISTRICT, TO PCD TO ALLOW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
7 MCDONALD'S RESTAURANT, TO BE LOCATED AT 104 SOUTH
8 UNIVERSITY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
Commission's action in denying a request for rezoning from C -3, General Commercial District, to PCD to
allow for the construction of a McDonald's Restaurant, to be located at 104 South University Avenue,
pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-104, in the City of Little
Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the resolution to rescind the denial of a request for rezoning from R -2 to
PCD shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of
City Hall at six o'clock on the 20`" day of September, 2011.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
