RESOLUTION NO. 13,338
A RESOLUTION TO SET JULY 19, 2011, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
ON A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF A
REPLACEMENT COMMISSIONER FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
MULTIPURPOSE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2007 — 304
PARKWAY NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION PROJECT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Little Rock Multipurpose Improvement District No. 2007 -304 Parkway Neighborhood
Association Project (the "District ") was established January 8, 2008, by Little Rock Ordinance No.
19,901, and five (5) persons were simultaneously appointed as its Board of Improvement.
WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Shannon K. Wilson, one of the commissioners on the District's
Board of Improvement, one (1) vacancy exists on the District's Board and should be filled in order that
the District can better perform its intended purposes.
WHEREAS, the District's Board has, upon the petition of five (5) property owners within the
District and by proper resolution, appointed Joseph T. Healy, an owner of real property in the District
who is recognized as a person of high integrity and accomplished business judgment, as the replacement
commissioner to the District's Board to fill the vacancy resulting from the resignation of Shannon K.
Wilson.
WHEREAS, these matters should be placed on the City Board's agenda for hearing before the City
Board at the next available opportunity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on said resolution shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall as six o'clock on the 19`h day of July, 2011.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
