3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JULY 19, 2011, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE DENIAL OF A
5 REZONING FROM AN EXPIRED POD TO MAGNOLIA TERRACE
6 ADDITION SHORT -FORM POD (Z- 5817 -B); AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
10 Commission's action in denying a request for rezoning from an expired POD to Magnolia Terrace
11 Addition Short-Form POD to allow for the development of the site with four (4) lots containing office and
12 retail uses, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City
13 of Little Rock.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the resolution to rescind the denial of a request for rezoning from an
expired POD to Magnolia Terrace Addition Short-Form POD (Z- 5817 -B) shall be held at a meeting of the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 19`h
day of July, 201 L
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
