HomeMy WebLinkAbout13332I RESOLUTION NO. 13,332 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH CULTURAL RESOURCE ANALYSTS, 5 INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF SEVENTY THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED 6 TWELVE DOLLARS ($70,112.00), FOR AN ARCHITECTURAL SURVEY 7 OF THE PROPOSED DUNBAR HISTORIC DISTRICT; AND FOR 8 OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 WHEREAS, by adoption of Resolution No. 13,274, the Little Rock Board of Directors authorized the City Manager to negotiate a contract with Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., ( "CRA ") for an architectural survey of the proposed Dunbar Historic District; and WHEREAS, an agreement was negotiated with CRA in the amount of Seventy Thousand, One Hundred Twelve Dollars ($70,112.00) to provide background and archival research, on -site fieldwork and data collection, and preparation of documentation files for review by city and state officials; and WHEREAS, funds for this contract are available from the Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Community Development Block Grant Program, CFDA Number 14 -218; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: b Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Seventy Thousand, One Hundred Twelve Dollars ($70,112.00) to conduct an architectural survey of the proposed Dunbar Historic District. Section 2. Funds for this project are available from amounts approved in the CDBG Consolidated Plans. Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
