HomeMy WebLinkAbout13309I RESOLUTION NO. 13,309 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO MODIFICATION #1 OF THE CONSORTIUM FUNDING 5 AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND 6 HABITAT FOR HUMANITY PULASKI COUNTY; AND FOR OTHER 7 PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, a Little Rock Livable Neighborhoods Consortium was created with the City of Little 10 Rock as lead agency and the Little Rock Housing Authority, Better Community Developers and Habitat 11 for Humanity as partners; and 12 WHEREAS, the Consortium was awarded Neighborhood Stabilization 2 (NSP2) Grant Funds in 13 2010; 14 WHEREAS, on March 16, 2010, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 13,104 15 authorizing the City Manager to enter into Consortium Funding Agreements with the Little Rock Housing 16 Authority, Better Community Developers and Habitat for Humanity for the expenditure of the NSP2 17 Grant Fund award; and 18 WHEREAS, on April 9, 2010, a Consortium Funding Agreement was entered into by and between 19 the City of Little Rock and Habitat for Humanity Pulaski County; and 20 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock and Habitat for Humanity desire to modify the terms and 21 conditions of the Consortium Funding Agreement, and that the Department of Housing and Urban 22 Development has approved the desired modifications; 23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 24 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 25 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into Modification #1 of the Consortium 26 Funding Agreement between the City of Little Rock and Habitat for Humanity Pulaski County in 27 substantially the form attached to this resolution. 28 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part 32 of the resolution.
