RESOLUTION NO. 13,307
A RESOLUTION TO SET MAY 17, 2011, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE SOUTH 82.7 FEET OF THE
SIXTEEN (16) -FOOT WIDE ALLEY RIGHT -OF -WAY (BLOCK
BOUNDED BY WEST 11TH STREET, MARYLAND AVENUE, BOOKER
STREET AND JOHNSON STREET), LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 2,
JONES AND WORTHEN'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
vacate and abandon the South 82.7 feet of the sixteen (16) -foot wide alley right -of -way (block bounded
by West 11`h Street, Maryland Avenue, Booker Street and Johnson Street), located within Block 2, Jones
and Worthen's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to its general police power
authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned easements shall be held at
a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
o'clock on the 17`h day of May, 2011.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
