RESOLUTION NO. 13,304
3 A RESOLUTION TO SET THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON
4 MAY 3, 2011, TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE
5 ISSUANCE OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS FOR
6 THE PURPOSE OF ASSISTING IN THE FINANCING OF A DATA
7 CENTER FACILITY TO BE LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City "), is authorized under the provisions of the
11 Municipalities and Counties Industrial Development Revenue Bond Law, Ark. Code Ann,. § §14 -164-
12 201 -224 (West 2004) and (West Supp. 2011) (the "Act "), to own, acquire, construct, reconstruct,
13 improve, equip and lease facilities to secure and develop industry and to assist in the financing thereof by
14 the issuance of bonds payable from the revenues derived from such facilities; and
15 WHEREAS, Windstream Hosted Solutions, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the
16 "Company ") engaged in the telecommunications business, has evidenced its interest in equipping a data
17 center facility (the "Project ") to be located at 15707 Chenal Parkway within the corporate boundaries of
18 the City if permanent financing for the Project can be provided through the issuance of revenue bonds
19 under the authority of the Act; and
20 WHEREAS, the City desires to provide assistance to the Company in order to secure and develop
21 industry within the City, and to aid in the financing of the Project under the provisions of the Act;
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY .
23 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
24 Section 1: That Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 6:00 p.m., shall be the date and time for a public hearing
25 with respect to the consideration of an ordinance authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $30,000,000 in
26 principal amount of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds, Series 2011, for the purpose of financing the
27 completion of the Project.
