3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 1, 2011, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF AN UNIMPROVED
5 TWENTY (20) -FOOT RIGHT OF WAY LOCATED SOUTH OF BLOCK 3,
6 HICK'S INTERURBAN ADDITION, MAINTAINING THE EASEMENT
7 RIGHTS FOR UTILITY AND DRAINAGE PURPOSES, IN THE CITY OF
8 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
11 vacate and abandon a portion of an unimproved twenty (20) -foot right of way located South of Block 3,
12 Hick's Interurban Addition, maintaining the easement rights for utility and drainage purposes, pursuant to
13 its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be held
17 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
18 o'clock on the 1 st day of February, 2011.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
20 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
21 County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
