RESOLUTION NO. 13,250
A RESOLUTION TO SET JANUARY 3, 2011, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF THE EASEMENT
RETAINED IN THE FORMER RIGHT -OF -WAY OF NORTH CEDAR
STREET LOCATED SOUTH OF OAKWOOD ROAD, IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
vacate and abandon the six (6) -foot wide by 29.4 -foot long utility and drainage easement retained in the
former right -of -way of North Cedar Street located South of Oakwood Road, in the City of Little Rock,
pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall be held
at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
o'clock on the P day of January, 2011.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
