RESOLUTION NO. 13,196
3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO MOBLEY
4 CONTRACTORS, INC., FOR RENOVATION OF THE CLINTON
5 PRESIDENTIAL PARK BRIDGE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, owns the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge;
8 and
9 WHEREAS, the City issued Bid Number 0242 seeking a contractor or contractors to
10 renovate the Bridge; and
11 WHEREAS, A review committee reviewed the bids submitted August 10, 2010, at 2:00 p.m.
12 and has determined that Mobley Contractors, Inc., of Morrilton, Arkansas, submitted the lowest
13 responsible and responsive bid, and recommends them for the contract award.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Mobley
17 Contractors, Inc., of Morrilton, Arkansas, to renovate the Bridge, at a cost of $8,158,660 plus a
18 contingency of $441,340 (Purchase Order amount $8,600,000), payable from Federal funds,
19 State funds, City funds and William J. Clinton Foundation ( "Foundation ") funds, pursuant to a
20 Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the City and the Foundation.
21 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
22 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
23 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
24 remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
25 unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
26 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
27 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
28 inconsistency.

Section 4. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
