3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE
4 TWO (2) HVAC UNITS FROM RP SOLUTIONS (EEI) FOR THE COMPUTER
5 ROOM IN THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BUILDING; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, two (2) HVAC units are needed for the computer room of the Information Technology
9 Building in order to provide energy efficient equipment to replace old less efficient units, and
10 WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) HVAC units, and the most responsible
11 and responsive bid was received from RP Solutions (EEI), in the amount of Sixty -Four Thousand, Six
12 Hundred Ninety -Six Dollars ($64,696.00) plus tax;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
14 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with RP Solutions (EEI)
16 for the purchase of two (2) HVAC units, in the amount of Sixty -Four Thousand, Six Hundred Ninety -Six
17 Dollars ($64,696.00) plus tax;
18 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the Energy Efficiency and Conversation Block
19 Grant (EECBG) Account #270129- G030132R.
20 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
21 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
22 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
