3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO REDSTONE
4 CONSTRUCTION GROUP, INC., FOR FEMA DISASTER RECOVERY GRANT
5 PROJECT, SWAGGERTY BRANCH PIPE DEBRIS REMOVAL; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for FEMA Disaster Recovery Grant Project, Swaggerty Branch Pipe
9 Debris Removal, Bid No.2010 -210; and
10 WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., submitted the lowest responsible bid of $165,000
11 ($150,000, plus 10% contingencies).
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone
15 Construction Group, Inc., for construction of FEMA Disaster Recovery Grant Project, Swaggerty Branch
16 Pipe Debris Removal, Bid No.2010 -210.
17 Section 2. Funding for the project is 12.5% City Share from Street Fund and Special Project Funds
18 and 87.5% from FEMA Grant Participation. Amount for construction services: $165,000 ($150,000, plus
19 10% contingencies).
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
26 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
27 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
