3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A PURCHASE ORDER TO CRUSE UNIFORMS, INC., STATE
5 CONTRACT VENDOR FOR REMINGTON AMMUNITION, FOR THE
6 PURCHASE OF POLICE AMMUNITION FOR 2010 TRAINING; AND
7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the Police Department needs to re -stock its ammunition supply to meet the
10 training requirements for 2010; and
11 WHEREAS, the estimated annual cost for utilizing the State Contract for purchasing the
12 Police Department's ammunition supply to fulfill the qualifications mandated by the State
13 Minimum Standards Commission for 2010 is Eighty -One Thousand, One Hundred Sixty -Seven
14 and 23/100 Dollars ($81,167.23);
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to purchase Police
18 Department ammunition for training for 2010 from the Arkansas State Contract in the estimated
19 annual cost of Eighty -One Thousand, One Hundred Sixty -Seven and 23/100 Dollars
20 ($81,167.23).
21 Section 2. Funds for the purchase of Police Department ammunition are available in the
22 2010 Departmental Budget Accounts.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
24 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
25 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
26 remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
27 unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
29 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
30 inconsistency.
