3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 16, 2010, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF A
5 TWENTY -FIVE (25) -FOOT WIDE ACCESS AND UTILITY
6 EASEMENT, LOCATED ALONG THE SOUTH PERIMETER OF LOT
7 1, CHENNONCEAU COMMERCIAL SUBDIVISION, IN THE CITY OF
8 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of
11 Directors vacate and abandon a portion of a twenty -five (25) -foot wide access and utility
12 easement located along the south perimeter of Lot 1, Chenonceau Commercial Subdivision,
13 located at the southeast corner of Chenonceau Boulevard and Cantrell Road, pursuant to its
14 general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall
18 be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of
19 City Hall at six o'clock on the 16th day of February, 2010.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
21 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper
22 published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little
23 Rock.
