3 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROVE A PLANNED ZONING
4 DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISH A PLANNED COMMERCIAL
5 DISTRICT TITLED ARKANSAS MUSEUM OF DISCOVERY SHORT -
6 FORM PCD (Z- 8615), LOCATED AT 500 PRESIDENT CLINTON
7 AVENUE, LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
8 ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
12 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. That the zoning classification of the following described property be changed
14 from UU to PCD:
15 Lot 12, Block 1 and Lots 7 through 12, Block 2, Lot 7, Block 3 and the closed
16 sixty (60) feet x 120 feet part of Sherman Street lying between Lot 12, Block 2,
17 and Lot 7, Block 3, all in Popes Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
18 County, Arkansas.
19 Section 2. That the approval of Arkansas Museum of Discovery Short-Form PCD (Z- 8615),
20 located at 500 President Clinton Avenue, is subject to compliance with the following additional
21 conditions:
22 • That the preliminary site development plan/plat be approved as submitted,
23 including all staff comments and conditions as outlined in the Planning
24 Commission Agenda Staff Report and including any conditions indicated in
25 the staff analysis in paragraph H and subject to additional conditions imposed
26 at the Planning Commission Public Hearing as amended by the applicant.

• The approval is subject to compliance with the conditions as indicated by the
River Market DRC minute record dated November 9, 2010. 0%111111
Section 3. That the preliminary site development plan/plat be approve d`Oe
the Little Rock Planning Commission.

Section 4. That the change in zoning classification contemplated for Arkansas Museum of
Discovery Short-Form PCD (Z- 8615), located at 500 President Clinton Avenue, is conditioned
upon obtaining a final plan approval within the time specified by Chapter 36, Article VII,
Section 36 -454 (e) of the Code of Ordinances.
Section 5. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and designated district map be and is hereby amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
Section 6. That this Ordinance shall not take effect and be in full force until the final
approval of the plan.
Section 7. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall
remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional were not originally a part of the ordinance.
Section 8. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
