3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 8 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
4 TO MODIFY CERTAIN PERMIT REQUIREMENTS REGARDING
5 MOVEMENT AND INSPECTION OF HOUSES, MODULAR BUILDINGS, AND
6 MANUFACTURED HOMES; TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR
7 OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City finds it necessary and desirable to clarify language in Section 8- 31(c)IE of the
10 Code of Ordinances.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
12 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1: Subsection 8- 31(c)IE of the Little Rock Code of Ordinances is hereby deleted in its
14 entirety and replaced by a new subsection 8- 31(c)IE to read as follows:
15 E. Inspection fees for moving of houses; inspection fees for moving of modular buildings, subject
16 to Ark. Code Ann. § 20 -34 -101:
17 Before move inspection (structure inside city) $ 30
18 Before move inspection (structure outside city but in Pulaski Co.
19 or adjacent county) $ 50
20 Before move inspection (structure elsewhere in Arkansas or
21 out of state) $100
22 (plus $0.50 per mile round trip plus expenses)
23 After move utility hookup and footing inspection
24 (on same lot or otherwise) $100
25 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance, which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 ordinance.
30 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances or resolutions of the City in conflict herewith are hereby
31 repealed to the extent of such conflict.
