AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A
DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR
MABELVALE PIKE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for the 5401 S. University
Building or until adjacent property along Mabelvale Pike is developed. The property is
located at 5401 S. University Avenue.
Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
period of five (5) years or until adjacent development along Mabelvale Pike
occurs, whichever occurs first. The specific deferral is for constructing
approximately 250 feet of 5 foot wide sidewalk on the north side of Mabelvale
Pike north of the Mabelvale Pike/University Ave. intersection.
Subsection b. . One half street improvements are required to be constructed
along the property's frontage on Mabelvale Pike prior to issuance of the
certificate of occupancy.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
