AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following property be and is hereby
changed as indicated:
Z -8227 — Described as TRACT 1: Part of the NE 1 /4 S W '/4 Section 8, T- I -S,
R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the NE '/4 SW '/4 Section 8, T -1 -S, R-
13-W thence S89 °48'35 "E along the South line of said NE '/4 SW '/4 1,235.83
feet to the Point of Beginning; thence N00 °l l'37E 599.31 feet to the South
Right -of -Way of Interstate Highway 30; thence N74 °0'E along said Right -of-
Way 74.35 feet; thence S00 °1 1'20 "W 620.04 feet; thence N89 °49'31 "W
71.45 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 1.0 Acres, more or less
AND
TRACT 2: Part of the NE '/4 SW '/4 and Part of the NW '/4 S E '/4 Section 8, T-
1 -S, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the NE '/4 SW '/4 Section 8, T -I -S, R-
13 -W thence S89 °48'35 "E along the South line of said NE '/4 SW '/4 1,307.28
feet to the Point of Beginning; thence N00 °1 1'20 "E 620.04 feet to the South
Right -of -Way line of Interstate Highway 30 feet thence N74 °0'E along said
Right -of -Way 99.63 feet; thence S05 °37'29 "E 627.77 feet to a point on the
North Right -of -Way line of the Union Pacific Railroad; thence S81 °08'52 "W
along the North line of said Union Pacific Railroad 148.0 feet to its
intersection with the South line of said NE '/4 SW '/4 of Section 8; thence
N89 °48'35 "W along the South line of said NE '/4 SW '/4 13.11 feet to the
Point of Beginning. Containing 1.84 Acres, more or less: From "R -2"
Single Family District to "I -1" Industrial Park District. (12601 Interstate 30)
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Little Rock and designated district map be and is hereby amended to the extent
and in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. That the Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force 30 days after
the date of its passage and approval.
SECTION 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the
ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged
invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance.
SECTION 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of
such inconsistency.
