HomeMy WebLinkAbout19682ORDINANCE NO. 19,682 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR KANIS ROAD. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan until the adjacent property along Kanis Road is developed for Ed Meux Plumbing Inc. at 25501 Kanis Road. Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a period of five (5) years or until adjacent development along Kanis Road occurs whichever occurs first. The specific deferral is for improving Kanis Road as part of the Meux Short-form PCD along the frontage of the property at 25501 Kanis Road to principal arterial standards including widening, curb, gutter, sidewalk, access ramps, and street lights. Subsection b. On Kanis Road, a 55 foot right of way dedication from centerline along the frontage of the property at 25501 Kanis Road will be required prior to approval of the final plat. SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
