AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR ARKANSAS STATE
HIGHWAY 365.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan until the adjacent property
along Arkansas State Highway 365 is developed for Save the St. Tammany Chahta Tribe
on the west side of Arkansas State Highway 365 located between Sweet Home and Higgins
Switch.
Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
period of five (5) years or until adjacent development along Arkansas State
Highway 365 occurs whichever occurs first. The specific deferral is for
improving Arkansas State Highway 365 as part of the Chahta Yakni Falama
Subdivision Site Plan along the frontage of the property on Arkansas State
Highway 365 to minor arterial standards including widening, curb, gutter,
sidewalk, access ramps, and street lights.
Subsection b. On Arkansas State Highway 365, a 45 foot right of way dedication
from centerline along the frontage of the property on the west side of Arkansas
State Highway 365 located between Sweet Home and Higgins Switch will be
required prior to approval of the final plat.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
