A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING ON OCTOBER 18, 2004 TO CONSIDER AN
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SEWER
REVENUE BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING
EXTENSIONS, BETTERMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO
THE CITY'S SEWER SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City ")
owns a Sewer System (the "System "), which is operated by the Sewer
Committee of the City (the "Committee "); and
WHEREAS, the Committee has determined that the
acquisition, construction and equipping of extensions, betterments
and improvements to the System are necessary in order for the
Little Rock Wastewater Utility to provide sanitary sewer service to
some of the unsewered areas of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Oc�ober 18, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. shall be
the date and time for a public hearing to consider an Ordinance
authorizing the issuance of up to $13,000,000 in principal amount
of Sewer Revenue Bonds, Series 2004C for the purpose of financing
extensions, betterments and improvements to the System.
