HomeMy WebLinkAbout11187ORDINANCE NO. 11,187 ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 2, BELISM ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE -ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 2nd day of May , 1961, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon it&e alley in Block 2, Bellwue Addition to the City of Little Rock, as des- cribed on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record.in Deed Book-1, Page 251, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however,to any public easements in the said alley; and WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained J: -the, alley, hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley, as herein described; was never actually opened or used by the public after the filing of the plat on June 27, 1914; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, a' subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said alley. SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County. SECTION 3.
